Unlike a pet carrier, this backpack is worn by your dog. It combines an adjustable harness with two side storage pockets, reflective panels, external bungee cords and a metal rear D-ring for attaching a lead.

Choosing the Correct Size
Measure your dog before ordering. Do not choose a size using breed alone.

Introducing Your Dog to a Backpack
Allow your dog to sniff the backpack before putting it on. Fit it without anything inside the pockets and let your dog wear it indoors for a short period.
Once your dog walks comfortably in the empty backpack, introduce very light contents gradually. Balance the same approximate weight on both sides and check that the backpack does not rotate, bounce or restrict natural movement.
Never begin with fully loaded pockets.
